Transition, starting 1986, at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, N.Y., from the School of Engineering, with a Dept. of Computer Science, to a Dept. of Computer Graphics in the School of Arts and Sciences. The Computer Graphics program was called "experimental" by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design in the early 1990s. The School of Engineering was closed in May, 1993.
